To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
