And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 Whatever they have done has been recorded in the Books (records of the deeds). 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
