To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Rather, the Hour is their encounter. And that Hour will be most calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
