And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning. 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Rather, the Hour is their encounter. And that Hour will be most calamitous and bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
