And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 And Our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 Thus, indeed, did We destroy people like you [in the past]: who, then, is willing to take it to heart? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
