And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 ARE, THEN, those of you who [now] deny the truth better than those others - or have you, perchance, [been promised] immunity in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 We have created everything in due measure; 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55
