▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 51 In both of them are two pairs of every fruit. 52 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 53 They will recline on Carpets, whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach). 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 56 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 57 who are as beautiful as rubies and pearls. 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 61 And besides these shall be two gardens -- 62 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 67 In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 Pure ones confined to the pavilions. 72 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. 76 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 77 HALLOWED be thy Sustainer's name, full of majesty and glory! 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
