BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 47 Of spreading branches. 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 In both these is a pair of every fruit. 52 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 53 Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 There will be bashful maidens untouched by mankind or jinn before. 56 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 57 As though they are jacinth and coral. 58 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 59 Should the reward of goodness be aught else but goodness? -- 60 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 61 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. 62 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 63 Of darkest verdant green -- 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 67 In them are fruits, palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 69 In the midst of these will be maidens, good and comely. 70 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 71 Fair ones, confined in tents. 72 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 They shall be reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets. 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
