▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But such as fears the Station of his Lord, for them shall be two gardens -- 46 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 47 Full of overhanging branches -- 48 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 49 In which, will be two fountains running. 50 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 Therein are maidens who restrain their glances, whom neither human nor jinn have touched before. 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 As if they were rubies and coral. 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 What is the reward of virtue except virtue (in return)? 60 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 61 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Two Gardens, dark green and fresh. 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 In the Gardens are two springs, overflowing with abundance. 66 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 67 In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 69 Therein will be damsels agreeable and beauteous. 70 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 71 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions - 72 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 73 Man has not touched them before them nor jinni. 74 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 75 [They will live in such a paradise] reclining upon green cushions and the finest carpets. 76 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. 78
