The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 and then there will be no one to deny its occurrence 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 When the earth is shaken up convulsively, 4 and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil! 9 and the Outstrippers: the Outstrippers 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 In the gardens of bliss. 12 A number of the earlier peoples, 13 And a few from the latter. 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 (no brows throbbing, no intoxication) 19 And fruits that they may like. 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 The likenesses of pearls well-protected, 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 (Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace. 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 and amid the extended shade 30 And water poured out 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 and raised couches 34 Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation 35 Then We have made them virgins, 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For those on the right. 38

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
