The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 and then there will be no one to deny its occurrence 2 Abasing exalting. 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 Turned to dust, floating in the air, 6 And ye are classes three. 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 Those on the Left -- how unlucky are those on the Left! 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 They shall be near-stationed (to their Lord), 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 A number of the earlier peoples, 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 (They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones, 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 Whereby there shall be neither headiness nor will they be inebriated. 19 And such fruits as they fancy, 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 And wide eyed houris 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk, 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 As for the People on the Right, how fortunate shall be the people on the Right! 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 and amid the extended shade 30 And in perpetually flowing water. 31 and fruit abounding, 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 and upraised couches. 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 chastely amorous, 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
