۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
