▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
