۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
