۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
