▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
