۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
