۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
