▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
