Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
