Al-Suff 2 of 2

Believers! Shall I guide you to a profitable course that will save you from a painful punishment? 10 You shall believe in God and His Messenger, and struggle in the way of God with your possessions and your selves. That is better for you, did you but know. 11 He will forgive you your sins and bring you into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, and pleasant dwellings in Gardens of Eden. That is the supreme triumph. 12 And [withal, He will grant you] yet another thing that you dearly love: succour from God [in this world,] and a victory soon to come: and [thereof, O Prophet,] give thou a glad tiding to all who believe. 13 O ye who believe! be Allah's helpers, even as 'Isa, son of Maryam, said unto the disciples: who shall be my helpers unto Allah? The disciples said: we are Allah's helpers. Then a part of the Children of Israil believed, and part disbelieved. Then We strengthened those who believed against their foe; wherefore they became triumphant. 14

True are the words of God the Almighty.
