Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So I swear by whatsoever you see, 38 and what you do not see 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 Had he attributed falsely any words to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 it is the indubitable truth. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
