BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 and what you do not see 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 and none of you could have saved him! 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 52
