So what is the matter with those who disbelieve that they hasten to listen from you (O Muhammad SAW), in order to belie you and to mock at you, and at Allah's Book (this Quran). 36 [To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups? 37 Does every one of them desire to enter the bountiful Paradise? 38 Never! We have indeed created them from a thing they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests that We have the power 40 To replace them with better than them; and We are not to be outdone. 41 Wherefore let thou them alone plunging in vanity and sporting until they meet their Day which they are promised. 42 The day on which they shall come forth from their graves in haste, as if they were hastening on to a goal, 43 Downcast shall be their looks; abjectness shall overspread them. Such is the Day which they are promised. 44
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
