WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 On the right and on the left, in companies? 37 Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure? 38 By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know! 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests, that, verily We are Able. 40 to replace them with [people] better than they are; for there is nothing to prevent Us [from doing what We will]. 41 So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they meet their Day which they are promised. 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 humbled their eyes, overspreading them abasement. That is the day which they were promised. 44
