The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O you enveloped in your cloak! 1 Arise, and warn. 2 Thy Lord magnify 3 and purify your clothing, 4 stay away from sins 5 Give not, thinking to gain greater 6 And for the sake of your Lord, be patient. 7 And when the trumpet is blown, 8 That, at that time, shall be a difficult day, 9 not of ease, for all who [now] deny the truth! 10 Leave Me alone with he whom I created 11 and whom I have granted abundant wealth 12 And sons abiding in his presence 13 And made life smooth and comfortable for him! 14 And yet he desires that I should add more! 15 By no means! For to Our Signs he has been refractory! 16 On him I shall impose a fearful doom. 17 Verily he considered, and devised. 18 So may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated. 19 Again (self-)destroyed is he, how he planned! - 20 Then looked he, 21 and then he frowns and glares, 22 and in the end he turns his back [on Our message,] and glories in his arrogance, 23 Then said he: "This is nothing but magic, derived from of old; 24 This is not but the word of a human being." 25 I will soon fling him into hell. 26 What will let you know what the Scorching is like! 27 It neither leaves, nor spares. 28 Blackening the skins. 29 Over it are Nineteen. 30 And We have not made the wardens of the fire others than angels, and We have not made their number but as a trial for those who disbelieve, that those who have been given the book may be certain and those who believe may increase in faith, and those who have been given the book and the believers may not doubt, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the unbelievers may say: What does Allah mean by this parable? Thus does Allah make err whom He pleases, and He guides whom He pleases, and none knows the hosts of your Lord but He Himself; and this is naught but a reminder to the mortals. 31

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
