NAY, but consider the moon! 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 A warning for people -- 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 What is the matter with them that they turn away from this Reminder, 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
