I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 a warning to mortal man 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 In Gardens they will question 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 And so, of no benefit to them could be the intercession of any that would intercede for them. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 like frightened donkeys 50 running away from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
