Nay, by the moon, 32 by the retreating night, 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 a warning to humans, 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 who will be in Paradise 40 concerning the sinners, 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 until death approached us". 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
