Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection 1 No! I swear by the reproachful soul. 2 Does man think that We cannot [resurrect him and] bring his bones together again? 3 We certainly have the power to restore them even the very tips of their finger. 4 In fact man wishes to commit evil in front of Him! 5 He asks, "When will be the Day of Judgment?" 6 Yet when the eyes are dazzled, 7 And the moon will be eclipsed, 8 and the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 On that day man will cry: Whither to flee! 10 No indeed; not a refuge! 11 On that day, the station is only towards your Lord. 12 Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back. 13 nay, man shall be a clear proof against himself, 14 even though he offers his excuses. 15 Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith. 16 It is for Us to collect it and to give you (O Muhammad SAW) the ability to recite it (the Quran), 17 So, when We recite it, follow thou its recitation. 18 Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]. 19 Nay! But you love the present life, 20 and leave be the Hereafter. 21 On the Day of Judgment some faces will be bright, 22 looking towards their Lord; 23 and some faces will on that Day be overcast with despair, 24 dreading some great affliction. 25 Never so, for when life withdraws into the clavicula, 26 And it is said, "Who will cure [him]?" 27 And he bethinketh that it is the time of parting. 28 And one shin will curl up with the other shin. 29 on that Day he will be driven towards your Lord! 30
