Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ NAY! I call to witness the Day of Resurrection! 1 Nay, I swear by the accusing soul (that this Scripture is true). 2 Does man think that We shall not gather his bones? 3 Surely yes, why not? We can properly make all his phalanxes. 4 But man wishes to do wrong (even) in the time in front of him. 5 He asks: When is the day of resurrection? 6 So when vision is dazzled 7 The moon eclipsed, 8 And the sun and moon are joined together,- 9 That Day will Man say: "Where is the refuge?" 10 No! There is no refuge. 11 With thy Sustainer, on that Day, the journey's end will be! 12 Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back. 13 In fact, people are well-aware of their own soul 14 Though he may put forth his excuses (to cover his evil deeds). 15 MOVE NOT thy tongue in haste, [repeating the words of the revelation:] 16 Indeed assembling the Qur’an and reading it are upon Us. 17 Thus, when We recite it, follow thou its wording [with all thy mind]: 18 We shall be responsible for its explanation. 19 Nay! But you love the present life, 20 and neglect the Hereafter. 21 Some faces on that Day will be fresh and resplendent, 22 and look forward to receiving mercy from their Lord. 23 and some faces on that Day will be gloomy, 24 Thou wilt know that some great disaster is about to fall on them. 25 No indeed; when it reaches the clavicles 26 and it is said: 'Who is a healing chanter' 27 the while he [himself] knows that this is the parting, 28 And leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded) 29 upon that Day the driving shall be to your Lord. 30

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
