The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Has there [not] come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing [even] mentioned? 1 We have created the human from a (sperm) drop, a mixture, testing him; We made him to hear and see. 2 We surely showed him the way that he may either be grateful or deny. 3 Lo! We have prepared for disbelievers manacles and carcans and a raging fire. 4 The virtuous ones will drink from a cup containing camphor 5 a source [of bliss] whereof God's servants shall drink, seeing it flow in a flow abundant. 6 Those who fulfil their vows and fear the Day whose evil shall be diffused far and wide, 7 And they give food out of love for Him to the poor and the orphan and the captive: 8 [saying, in their hearts,] "We feed you for the sake of God alone: we desire no recompense from you, nor thanks: 9 Lo! we fear from our Lord a day of frowning and of fate. 10 So Allah will save them from the evil of that Day and has secured for them radiance and joyfulness, 11 And hath awarded them for all that they endured, a Garden and silk attire; 12 Reclining in the (Garden) on raised thrones, they will see there neither the sun's (excessive heat) nor (the moon's) excessive cold. 13 the shading branches of trees will come down low over them, and their clusters of fruit, will hang down where they are the easiest to reach. 14 and there shall be passed around them vessels of silver, and goblets of crystal, 15 Crystal-clear, made of silver. They will determine the measure thereof according to their wishes. 16 And they will be given to drink there of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Zanjabil,- 17 Which is a spring in Paradise called Salsabeel. 18 ۞ And round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness): If thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered Pearls. 19 And when you see there, you shall see blessings and a great kingdom. 20 Upon them there will be garments of green silk, rich brocade, and they will be adorned with bracelets of silver. Their Lord will give them a pure beverage to drink. 21 This will be their reward and their efforts will be appreciated. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
