(Muhammad), We have revealed the Quran to you in gradual steps. 23 So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever]. 24 And mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evening 25 And during night, prostrate yourself to Him (i.e. the offering of Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers), and glorify Him a long night through (i.e. Tahajjud prayer). 26 Indeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them a grave Day. 27 We have created them and have given them strength. Had We wanted, We could have replaced them with another people like them. 28 Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way. 29 But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. 30 He is Merciful to whom He will; but, for the harmdoers He has prepared for them a painful punishment. 31
