Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 For a known calculated term. 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
