Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 Till an appointed term, 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
