The pious ones will be triumphant. 31 luxuriant gardens and vinyards, 32 And young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age; 33 and cups full of wine. 34 There they shall not hear any idle talk, or any untruth: 35 a recompense from your Lord, a gift, a reckoning, 36 The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that lies between them, most benevolent, to whom none may dare address a word. 37 On that Day, when the Spirit (Gabriel) and the angels stand in ranks they shall not speak, except he to whom the Merciful has given permission, and says what is right. 38 That Day is sure to come, so whoever wishes to, let him take the path that leads towards his Lord. 39 Lo! We warn you of a doom at hand, a day whereon a man will look on that which his own hands have sent before, and the disbeliever will cry: "Would that I were dust!" 40
