The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence; 1 and gently take it away; 2 by the angels who float (in the heavens by the will of God), 3 Then outpace the others swiftly 4 And direct affairs by command, 5 The day on which the quaking one shall quake, 6 There will follow it the subsequent [one]. 7 Hearts will pound loudly on that day, 8 Unable to lift their gaze. 9 They say, "What? shall we be brought back to life, 10 after we have become bones and dust?" 11 [And] they add, "That, then, would be a return with loss!" 12 So that is not but a single shout. 13 and they will be upon the surface of the earth (alive). 14 Has the story of Moses come to you 15 When his Lord called to him in Tuwa's holy vale? 16 Go to Firon, surely he has become inordinate. 17 And say: 'Would you like to grow (in virtue)? 18 And I will guide you to your Lord so that you should fear. 19 And he showed him the greatest sign, 20 But he denied and disobeyed, 21 then he turned away hastily, 22 Then he gathered and cried aloud, 23 And said, "I am your most exalted lord." 24 So Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression]. 25 Surely there is a great lesson in it for whoever would fear (Allah). 26

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
