By oath of those who harshly pull out the soul. (Of the disbeliever) 1 By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers); 2 by those that swim serenely 3 and the outstrippers (angels), outstripping, 4 by those that direct an affair! 5 On the Day when a violent convulsion will convulse [the world], 6 and the second blast follows it, 7 Hearts, that Day, will tremble, 8 Their looks will be downcast. 9 They say: Shall we indeed be restored to (our) first state? 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 They say: “That will then be a return with a great loss!” 12 However, it will only take a single blast 13 And lo! they all shall appear on the surface. 14 Has Moses' story reached you? 15 When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 "Go unto Pharaoh - for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of what is right 17 and say to him: 'Are you willing to be purified, 18 And that I guide you to your Lord, so you should fear Him? 19 Then [Musa (Moses)] showed him the great sign (miracles). 20 Yet he belied and disobeyed. 21 and hastily turned away, 22 And he gathered [his people] and called out 23 and proclaimed, "I am your supreme Lord," 24 you pay attention 25 Surely in that is a lesson for him who fears! 26
