He made it. 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
