Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 Then, for him who Tagha (transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah). 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
