[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Those who have rebelled 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
