He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ The Prophet frowned and turned away 1 Because there came unto him a blind man. 2 And what could let you know? Perhaps he (comes to hear you) to be purified. 3 Or be admonished, and the admonition profit him? 4 As for him who is not in want of any thing, 5 you attended to him, 6 though you are not to be blamed if he would not purify himself -- 7 And for him who came to you striving, 8 And he fears, 9 Him thou neglectest! 10 No indeed; this is only a Reminder. 11 So whoever wills, let him pay attention to it. 12 On honourable pages. 13 Exalted, purified, 14 In the hands of scribes (angels). 15 Honourable and obedient. 16 Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he. 17 From what stuff hath He created him? 18 Out of a drop of sperm He creates him, and thereupon determines his nature, 19 and then made the course of life easy for him, 20 Then causeth him to die, and burieth him; 21 and He will resurrect him whenever He wants. 22 Nay, but man did not fulfil what Allah had enjoined upon him. 23 Then let man look to his food, 24 How We poured down water in torrents, 25 Thereafter We cleave the earth in clefts, 26 Then We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 And Grapes and nutritious plants, 28 and olives and palms, 29 And enclosed Gardens, dense with lofty trees, 30 And fruits and herbage 31 for you and for your herds to delight in. 32 When the trumpet sounds, 33 On the Day whereon a man shall flee from his brother, 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 As well as his wife and children. 36 every man that day shall have business to suffice him. 37 Some faces on that Day shall be beaming with happiness, 38 laughing and joyful, 39 And faces on that Day! upon them shall be gloom. 40 Covered with the blackness (of shame): 41 They will be the unbelievers, transgressors. 42
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
