The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is wound up; 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 and when the mountains are made to vanish, 3 and when she-camels big with young, about to give birth, are left untended, 4 when the savage beasts shall be brought together, 5 when the seas are set boiling, 6 And when souls are united, 7 And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 and when heaven is laid bare, 11 and when the blazing fire [of hell] is kindled bright, 12 And when the Garden is brought nigh, 13 then shall each person know what he has brought along. 14 So I swear by the retreating stars - 15 That run their course (and) hide themselves, 16 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 17 And by oath of the morning when it takes birth. 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 The mighty, the honoured in the presence of the Lord of the Throne. 20 obeyed by (all creatures) and faithful to His trust. 21 And your comrade is not mad. 22 And indeed he saw him on the clear horizon. (Prophet Mohammed saw Angel Jibreel in his true shape peace and blessings be upon them). 23 He (Muhammad) is not accused of lying about the unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. 25 where then are you going? 26 Verily this is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds: 27 for whosoever of you who would go straight; 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.
