The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun shall be wound round, 1 And when the stars fall, dispersing, 2 and the mountains have been taken, 3 when ten-month pregnant camels are left untended, 4 when the savage beasts are gathered 5 And when the seas are set on fire, 6 souls are reunited with their bodies, 7 And when the girl-child who was buried alive is asked. 8 For what sin she was killed? 9 And when the written pages of deeds (good and bad) of every person shall be laid open; 10 And when the heaven is torn away. 11 and Hell is stoked, 12 and Paradise brought nigh: 13 (Then) every soul will know what it had prepared (for itself). 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, 16 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 17 and the first breath of morning. 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 Mighty, established in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 The one who is obeyed, and trustworthy. (Other angels obey angel Jibreel). 21 And your companion is not insane. 22 And of a truth he saw himself on the clear horizon. 23 And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of an outcast devil. 25 Then where are you going? 26 This is a reminder for all the peoples of the world, 27 to every one of you who wishes to tread the straight path. 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
Almighty God's Truth.
