Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Not at all but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 who know all that you do: 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
