Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 noble scribes, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
