Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 They know all that you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 to burn therein. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
