Al-Infitaar

Shattering (Al-Infitaar)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble scribes, 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
