Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
