Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 noble, recording, 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
